Please be aware that Merivale Road is known for a high number of kangaroos, particularly around dusk and dawn. If you are unfamiliar with driving on rural roads, we strongly recommend planning your arrival during daylight hours, preferably well before dusk, to ensure a safer journey

Absolutely one of the best places to stay in Esperance. Anna and Alex have truly one-of-a-kind taste, the space is beautifully designed and you can tell they really care about quality and every little detail. Everything was incredibly comfortable, especially the mattress. It was exactly what we needed after a long drive from Perth. Anna and Alex were both so friendly and supportive, with quick responses and clear instructions (the fireplace tips were super helpful!). We also happened to run into Alex, who gave us great recommendations for nearby spots, each one was stunning. Waking up to kangaroos, and watching the sunset with sheeps around the property, made the whole experience feel really special. Overall, such a beautiful and memorable stay. Would 100% come back again if we're in Esperance!
Perfect Getaway!
Anna's Boxhill property in Esperance is the perfect getaway. Peaceful beautiful surroundings with views of the ocean, sand dunes and occasional kangaroo! The house was absolutely stunning, spotless and welcoming. Everything you could need in the kitchen and bathroom was available. Anna provided an extensive amazing guide with local tips and recommendations for the area which we found really helpful. There are even multiple types of private exclusive tours you can arrange through Anna. We absolutely adored having an indoor and outdoor fireplace option and it was a great way to unwind after a day of exploring. Anna was an exceptional host; she was very communicative with instructions, letting us know we could arrive early if needed, checking in to see if we needed anything and was super responsive when we had local questions. We had an incredible stay here and are talking about when we are going to return! Our only regret was not staying longer!
